I am Charles, based in Beaconsfield, South Bucks. I have been selling quality items on behalf of clients for over 20 years, and every item is handled personally by me from the day I collect it to the day it is paid for.
I come to you, assess your items in person and take them away. You are not posting a box of things to a stranger and hoping for the best. Every item is in my hands from the moment I collect it to the moment it reaches its new owner.
Over 20 years and thousands of transactions, I have developed a clear approach: research the right price, photograph properly, describe accurately and use the right platform for each item type. That combination consistently achieves around 20% more than comparable private listings - and the difference between a good listing and a mediocre one is larger than most people expect.
The service is built around people who have quality items and no desire to deal with the process of selling them. Strangers at the door, cash transactions, packaging and queuing at the post office, buyer disputes - none of that reaches you. You set your minimum price, I collect everything with a written record, and you wait for payment.
I cover South Bucks - primarily HP9, HP7, HP10, SL9, SL0 and surrounding postcodes - and Central London by arrangement. For items of sufficient value, other areas are possible; get in touch and I will say honestly whether it makes sense.
How I approach the work
Three things that matter.
Discretion
Nothing is ever listed under your name. All items appear under my seller account. No buyer, no platform and no one you know can connect a listing to you. This matters more than people often realise until they need it.
Honesty
I tell you what things are realistically worth and what the likely outcome is - including when something is not worth the effort. I would rather have that conversation upfront than waste your time or mine.
Care
Items are photographed properly, described accurately and packed carefully. This is not optional - it is the difference between an item selling at the right price and sitting unsold. The details matter.
