Charles's Marques is a family-run business based in Beaconsfield, built on face-to-face service and over 15 years of experience selling quality items across virtually every category.
We come to you, assess your items in person and take them away. You are not posting a box of things to a stranger and hoping for the best. Every item is handled by us from the moment we collect it to the moment it reaches its new owner.
Over 15 years and thousands of transactions, we have developed a clear approach: research the right price, photograph properly, describe accurately and use the right platform for each item type. This combination consistently achieves around 20% more than comparable private listings — and the difference between a good listing and a mediocre one is larger than most people expect.
The service is built around clients who have quality items and no desire to deal with the process of selling them. Strangers at the door, cash transactions, packaging and queuing at the post office, buyer disputes — none of that reaches you. You set your minimum price, hand the item over and wait for payment.
We cover South Bucks — primarily HP9, HP7, HP10, SL9, SL0 and surrounding postcodes — and Central London by arrangement. For items of sufficient value, other areas are possible; get in touch and we will say honestly whether it makes sense.

Discretion
Nothing is ever listed under your name. All items appear under our seller account. No buyer, no platform and no one you know can connect a listing to you. This matters more than people often realise until they need it.
Honesty
We tell you what things are realistically worth and what the likely outcome is — including when something is not worth the effort. We would rather have that conversation upfront than waste your time or ours.
Care
Items are photographed properly, described accurately and packed carefully. This is not optional — it is the difference between an item selling at the right price and sitting unsold. The details matter.
